Simone Biles

Simone Biles was an American gymnast who was born on March 14, 1997 in Columbus, Ohio. She is considered to be one of the most outstanding gymnasts. The 2016 Olympics took place at Rio de Janeiro and Biles was the U.S.'s only female gymnast ever to win 4 gold medals. She also won the world title for all-around, three times in succession (2013-15). Biles along with their younger sibling Adria was adopted by Ronald Biles and Nellie Biles the grandparents of Spring Texas (in the Houston region) were raised there. Simone started to develop the sport of gymnastics seriously as when she was six years old during a school field trip at Bannon Gymnastix. Aimee Borman was her coach throughout the next eleven years. Biles was a winner in the floor and vault exercises at the 2009 Women's Junior Olympic National Championships before becoming an highest level of competition in 2011. In just two years, she won the sport. Biles stood out for her consistent performance, exuberant personality as well as the difficult routines she performed at all four events including vaulting, uneven bars, and the balance beam.
