Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy, a half-Spanish, half-English woman was born April 16, 1997 in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor is a retired banker, and Jennifer Marina Joy is a psychologist. Her father was an Argentine with Scottish and English ancestry. Her mother is Spanish-English. She was the first born of a household that included six children. Four are her siblings of the marriage that she had with Taylor's dad. After living with her parents in Buenos Aires for six years The family moved to Victoria. Taylor-Joy says that moving to London was traumatizing and she did not learn English in order to prevent returning to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she was required to attend after switching from Northlands. After that, she went to Queen's Gate School in London, where she took ballet classes and participated in drama productions. She quit high school at 16 in order to concentrate on her acting career. Taylor-Joy's dream to become an actor started when she was just a child. Sarah Doukas of Storm Management was the first one to hire her as model for professional models.
